HR specialist
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
- Ensure accurate, precise and timely circulation of personnel documents and compliance with the legislation of the Czech Republic.
- Provide the company with competent employees, support and evolve employees through company’s guidelines and managing processes.
- Provide support to managers in personnel management issues.
- Ensure compliance of personnel processes with company personnel policies and procedures and in accordance with Czech laws and regulations.
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organize and control the flow of personnel record keeping documentation (employment contracts, job descriptions, agreements, orders on personnel, business trips, training, vacations, sick leaves, etc. documents, provide archiving, document registration, maintaining databases etc. activities related to personnel record keeping).
- Enter personnel data into the accounting system and ensure correct info of personnel data.
- Ensure all employee records are maintained and updated with new hire information or changes in employment status.
- Identify the company’s hiring needs and managing the recruitment process to ensure it runs smoothly.
- Organize selection processes by managing all administrative steps, documents and communication with candidates.
- Create and implement human resource policies and procedures.
- Manage and support procedures related to staff working conditions, time management, leave and absences, health and wellbeing programs.
- Design and implement effective training and development plans, implement quarterly and annual employee performance review process.
- Plan, organise and administer training activities, including the procurement of training services
- In cooperation with the heads of the structural units, carry out the integration of new employees in the company.
- Ensure that new employees are introduced to personnel management and administrative procedures and provide them with support and necessary information.
- Based on the job descriptions, develop candidate selection and evaluation criteria.
- Choose the most suitable selection methods and the most suitable candidate search method.
- Organize and control the entire personnel selection process in accordance with Czech laws and regulations.
- Provide advice and support to staff and managers on HR matters.
- Ensure accurate, precise and timely internal communication circulation in the company.
- Provide regular and ad-hoc staff statistics and reports for management and external bodies.
- Respond to employees’ queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Implement personnel management projects, such as evaluation, development, employer brand, internal communication, etc.
- Perform other work duties in accordance with the order of the direct manager/director within the scope of HR specialist position.
QUALIFICATION AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a HR specialist role in at least two of the following fields: personnel administration, recruitment and selection, learning and development or employee health and wellbeing.
- Ability to analyse, interpret and implement HR rules and regulations.
- Strong knowledge of labour legislation and payroll processes.
- Good understanding of the full recruitment process.
- Very high sense of discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels within the organisation as well as external partners.
- Good command of Microsoft Office programs and experience of working with HR tools/databases.
- Solid problem-solving and team-working abilities.
- Very well-developed service-oriented approach.
- High sense of responsibility, ability to deliver results and attention to detail.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent level of Czech and good level of English, both written and spoken.
