SALES SPECIALIST
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Sales Specialist is a key member of our sales team responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets. This role requires a deep understanding of our products or services, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a results-oriented mindset. The Sales Specialist will work closely with potential and existing clients to identify their needs, offer solutions, and close sales deals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals on a consistent basis, identify sales opportunities, pitch products or services, and close deals, develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and market penetration.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of the company's products or services and stay updated on industry trends, clearly communicate product/service features, benefits, and value propositions to clients.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations, tailor presentations to match the needs and interests of different clients.
- Identify and engage with potential clients through cold calling, networking, and research., follow up on leads and qualify prospects for sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline, prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, addressing objections and concerns, secure sales contracts and agreements.
- Collaborate with other members of the sales team and cross-functional departments, share insights, best practices, and contribute to team goals.
- Proven track record of successful sales performance, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, strong understanding of the industry and market dynamics, self-motivated and results-driven with a competitive spirit.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proficiency in English is required, fluency in German/French/Italian is highly desirable.
- This position may require travel and attendance at industry events and trade shows.
- The Sales Specialist will report to the Head of Sales.
